The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has stepped up its probe into the murder of AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy Baba and former Kadapa MP YS Vivekananda Reddy.It is learned that Viveka was brutally murdered in his own possession in Pulivendula in Kadapa district ahead of the 2019 elections.
Jagan alleged that the assassination was carried out by the TDP government in power today and demanded a CBI probe.However, the YSRCP won the election .TDP lost.After that, Jagannath decided to investigate the Viveka murder case with the state police.
There has also been some scrutiny in this direction.However, Viveka’s daughter Dr Sunita has approached the high court directly saying that she has no faith in the state police’s investigation.
Following her application, the High Court referred the case to the CBI.
The CBI, which entered the field on the orders of the High Court, has already prosecuted many.The CBI team, which had been stationed in Kadapa for months, investigated the case from all angles.In addition, Viveka’s close associates Erra Gangireddy and Sunil Kumar Yadav have already been arrested.
The CBI, which has already submitted two reports to the court, took another crucial step on Monday.The CBI has arrested a driver who was working as a car driver at Viveka and produced him in the Pulivendula court.
The CBI, which has already registered a statement from Dastagiri, has recently recorded another statement from him.Arguments have been heard that the CBI has stepped up its aggression in the Viveka case with this outcome and will soon unravel the maze of the case.
