Director Sreenu Vaitla has been going through a rough phase.His recent films had witnessed miserable results at the box-office.To bounce back, he is now teaming up with Manchu Vishnu to make a sequel for their 2007 film ‘Dhee’ which was a memorable project in both Vishnu and Sreenu Vaitla’s career.‘Dhee’ is a comedy caper that has paved the way for a new style of entertainment.
Titled ‘D & D’, the film was announced officially today on the occasion of Vishnu’s birthday.By giving the tagline of “Double Dose”, the makers assure a double dose of action and comedy than the first film in the ‘Dhee‘ franchise.
In the poster, the background is painted red while handcuffs are used to design the letters ‘D & D’.
Gopi Mohan and Kishore Gopu co-write the script, wherein Mahati Swara Sagar scores music.Peter Hein choreographs the stunts while Mohana Krishna handles the cinematography.Vishnu Manchu is producing the film on his home banner 24 Frames Factory.
The regular shooting of this sequel will commence from January next year and more details regarding the project will be unveiled in the near future.
