Chennai 11 August : Actor Vishal who is currently filming for director Adhik Ravichandran’s “Mark Antony,” has suffered a sprain to his knee during filming an action sequence in the film. Sources tell us that the unit that has been filming in the city during the past week was shooting an action scene on Wednesday.
Vishal who has suffered two major injury to his leg during shooting for the ‘Laththi’ song, has suffered a further serious injury to his knee.
He was transported to a hospital that was private where he received first aid and given advice to rest.
“Mark Antony,” that features Vishal as well as SJ Suryah in double roles, includes Ritu Verma in the female leading lady.
The huge budget film that is being made in five languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada and is being promoted as a pan-Indian movie by the company.
The work started in the beginning of the week of May in Chennai.
The film will be Vishal’s 33rd feature is being made by S Vinod Kumar, the person who produced Vishal’s ‘Enemy.
GV Prakash Kumar has composed the music for the film, which will be edited by Vijay Velukutty and cinematography by Abhinandan Ramanujam.
Famous stunt directors Kanal Kannan, Peter Hein and Ravi Varma are doing the stunts for the film with Umesh Rajkumar directing the production design.
