Sankranthi is the biggest festive season for Tollywood as we’ve been flooded with movie releases while halfway done films would be releasing their posters, teasers, trailers, and many more.On this occasion, the team of ‘Virata Parvam’ has also geared up and released a poster of Rana and Sai Pallavi and wished all their fans a very happy Sankranthi.Rana is playing the role of Dr.Ravi Shankar aka Ravanna in this film.
‘Virata Parvam’ is set in the 1990s and it is said to trace the story of the clash between a Naxal group and the government.
In the poster, we have Rana wearing the attire of a Naxalite and smile while Sai Pallavi is seen in a red and yellow half saree.
She is holding Rana’s hand and the couple are seen walking with a lovely smile on their faces.Sai Pallavi plays the role of a village belle in this film and sources say that her character is going to be very well-written as she also took training from ex-top cadre Naxalites.
Although the film has a very dark and action-based concept, this poster will definitely put up a bright smile on the faces of fans.
The film also stars Priyamani, Nandita Das, Naveen Chandra, Zareena Wahab, Eswari Rao, and Rahul Ramakrishna.D Suresh Babu is presenting the film which is bankrolled by Sudhakar Cherkuri of SLV Cinemas.It will have music by Suresh Bobbili and the film has completed its last leg of shooting.
Meanwhile, Rana is awaiting the release of his trilingual ‘Haathi Mere Saathi’.He also has ‘Hiranya Kashyapa’ in the pipeline.
On the other hand, Sai Pallavi is currently awaited her release of Shekar Kammula’s ‘Love Story’ along with Naga Chaitanya.
