An Israeli scuba diver has found an ancient sword of the Mediterranean coast.It is thought to date back to the time of the Crusaders.
Archaeologists say ancient artifacts, including pots and a meter-long sword, were found during a weekend dive in northern Israel.They are said to be available at a depth of five meters, 150 meters from the coast.
Experts say the area was home to ancient ships 4,000 years ago and was home to archaeological treasures.However, it is mentioned that it is difficult to find such things here due to the frequently changing sand.
Government experts said the Sword found on the diver’s shore would be examined.
The Sword is estimated to be 900 years old.Robbery Prevention Unit Authority Inspector Nir Distelfeld said the knife would be cleaned first and then analyzed.The diver who discovered the sword was identified as Shlomi Katzin.
