Young sensation Vijay Deverakonda’s last outing ‘World Famous Lover’ was a huge disaster at the box office as it failed to impress the audience.Directed by Kranthi Madhav and produced by KS.Rama Rao, the film had Raashi Khanna, Aishwarya Rajesh, Catherine Tresa, and Izabelle Leite as the female leads. On the other hand talented hero Satyadev starrer ‘Uma Maheswara Ugraroopasya’ was released directly on Netflix recently and received a positive response by the movie lovers and the critics.
This film was directed by Venkatesh Maha of ‘C/o Kancharapalem’ fame while it was produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni of Arka Media Works along Praveena Paruchuri.
Both these film had their first-ever tv premiere last week and the TRP’s of both these films came out.‘World Famous Lover’ which was telecasted on Star MAA channel registered a poor TRP rating of 5.8 whereas ‘Uma Maheswara Ugraroopasya’ which was aired on Etv has managed to register a decent TRP rating of 5.1.Considering Vijay’s star status, the film TRP’s indicate that ‘World Famous Lover’ is a failure among small screen audiences too.
