The makers of the film “Kushi” announced on Saturday that the movie has completed filming and is set to release in theaters on September 1.“Kushi” is a romantic comedy directed by Shiva Nirvana.Vijay Deverakonda, famous for his role in “Arjun Reddy,” and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, known for her performance in “U Turn,” star in the lead roles in Kushi.
The story revolves around the love story between an army officer and a girl from Kashmir.
After a two-year production stage, the film has finally wrapped up.The wrap party for “Kushi” was celebrated, and photos from the event have been circulating online.The production company, Mythri Movie Makers, shared party photos that included Vijay Deverakonda, director Shiva Nirvana, and other crew members.
In one of the photos, Vijay Deverakonda can be seen standing next to the director as they announced the completion of the movie.
A video was also shared, capturing the moment when the actor received a loud cheer and applause before proceeding to cut a cake.The caption of the post mentioned that the film is currently in post-production and will be released on September 1, 2023, in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
This will be the second collaboration between Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha, with their previous film being “Mahanati” released in 2018.Due to Samantha’s diagnosis of myositis, the shooting of “Kushi” was affected and had to be put on hold.
However, after receiving treatment for her condition, Samantha returned to the sets to complete the final portion of the film.
Aside from Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha, “Kushi” also features other talented actors such as Sachin Khedekar, Murali Sharma, Jayaram, Venezuela Kishore, Rohini, Lakshmi, Ali, Srikanth Iyengar, Sharanya Pradeep, and Rahul Ramakrishna.
