By Archana Sharma Jaipur : , Nov 18, 2018 – Former Chief Minister of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje embarks on a “Mewar Yatra” starting November 23.This is her preparation for the 2023 Assembly elections.

Gulabchand Kataria, the leader of the opposition from Mewar region, had raised the question about her participation as the party’s top campaigner during the recent bypolls.Kataria brought up the issue after Vasundhara’s supporters suggested her name for the party’s CM in next Assembly elections.

Raje’s Mewar Yatra is being considered as an answer to Kataria.

There was a sort of poster war in Rajasthan, as Raje’s posters were taken from the state party headquarter and from bypoll posters.

Raje’s loyalists include former ministers Yunus Singh Shekhawat and Rajpal Singh Shekhawat.Kalulal Gurjar and Srichand Kriplani are also making every effort to make the tour successful as part of Raje’s strategy to send a political message.

According to the program, Raje will offer prayers at Sanwariyaji Temple on November 23, Udaipur on Rajsamand temple on November 24, and Bhilwara temple on November 25, where she will visit various temples.

Raje’s trip is being canceled by party leaders.

They claim that party office-bearers have been busy preparing for “chintan baithaks”, in which various issues are being considered to be ready for the 2023 election.

The state executive committee meeting is also in the midst of hectic preparations.We are also preparing for J.P.Nadda, the party president, to visit us.A megaprotest on December 15, where around 5 million people will gather to protest against deteriorating law, order and farm loan problems, is also underway.
