Top production house Mythri Movie Makers invested a bomb on their next project ‘Uppena‘ which marks the debut of Vaisshnav Tej and Krithi Shetty in the lead roles.The film has completed its shooting almost 10 months back and has initially scheduled the release date for April 2nd, 2020.
However then, the COVID pandemic happened and the release has been postponed.
When many films were coming out on OTT platforms, the makers of ‘Uppena’ held back the rights and did not release the film.
Since theatres have been opened now and the recent Sankranthi releases turned out to huge hits at the box office, the makers of this romantic love story have announced that the film will hit the screens on the 12th of February during the Valentine weekend in a big way.
The team officially announced it on social media with a small and beautiful clip.Buchi Babu Sana who earlier worked with Sukumar is making his directorial debut with the film while Tamil star actor Vijay Setupathi plays the lead antagonist in the movie.The music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
