Telangana CS Somesh Kumar has been directed by CM KCR to make arrangements for immediate vaccination of employees and staff of electrical power companies.In the wake of the corona, the Telangana state emergence day celebrations were held modestly.
On the occasion of State Emergence Day, Transco and Genco CMD Devulapalli Prabhakar Rao congratulated CM KCR at Pragati Bhavan.He explained that electricity employees and staff should be vaccinated and that more than 6,000 employees have already been infected with the coronavirus.
Responding to this, CM KCR said to CS, “Electrical employees and staff are also frontline workers and they should be vaccinated immediately.We need to discuss with the CMD and start the vaccination process soon.”
Shivaji Harsham, president of the Telangana Association of Electrical Engineers (TEEA) lauded the CM’s order to vaccinate all electrical employees.Hundreds of electricians who have been working hard in the field have already tested positive for coronavirus.
Because of this, Shivaji thanked CM KCR for deciding to vaccinate power employees.Also, he thanked State Power Minister G Jagadish Reddy and CMD Prabhakar Rao for briefing the CM on the situation of employees.
