Rajamouli’s magnum opus project Baahubali has started conquering even before it hit the marquees.The movie got a monstrous offer from all areas in AP and the distribution rights of all areas sold for fancy prices.
The money that was fetched for ceded was said to be 13 crores and for Karnataka 9 crores, Naizam 25 crores!
It’s known that Baahubali film is made in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages.As we reported earlier Studio Green banner owned by Gnanavel Raja in association with UV creatins banner acquired rights of Tamil version.
Now there was heavy competition for Hindi rights of the film.Sources say UTV Motion Pictures and Yash Raj Films banners are jointly approaching ARKA Media for negotiating on Bahubali Hindi distribution rights.
The deal was not yet finalized but the chances were very high for these banners to clinch the deal.If it happens Baahubali will see mammoth release in Bollywood.
“Baahubali”, which is produced by Shobu Yarlagadda, is being made with a whopping budget of over ₹150 crore.It is a historical drama film and is being released in two parts.
Baahubali’s first part releasing in summer this year and second part within the gap of two-three months.
