US President Donald Trump, along with his wife Melania Trump has landed in India a while back.Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed the couple and received them at the Ahmedabad International Airport.
From there, along with Modi, and other politicians, Trump is en route to Sabarmati Ashram.
Carrying Donald Trump, his wife, and a high-level delegation from the US, the US Air Force One flight touched down at the Ahmedabad International Airport at 11:39 hours IST.After paying a visit to the iconic Sabarmati Ashram, Trump and Modi will participate in the ‘Namaste Trump’ event organized at the world’s largest stadium, Motera Stadium.
Post the mega event, the entire team will leave to Agra at 3:30 pm, and visit the wonderful ‘Taj Mahal’ at 5:15.After spending a brief while, the entire unit will leave to Delhi at 5:45 pm, and reach the Palam Air Force Station at 7:30 pm.
The second day of Trump and his delegation will continue to be busy, with three official meetings between the nations’ leaders, and delegations to take place.At 10:00 am tomorrow morning, Trump will attend a Ceremonial reception at Rashtrapathi Bhavan.After the Ceremonial reception at the Rashtrapathi Bhavan, Donal Trump will take part in the wreath-laying at Mahatma Gandhi Memorial, Rajghat, New Delhi, before taking part in the meeting with Modi.
A high-level meeting Narendra Modi and Donald Trump will take place at 11:00 am at Hyderabad House, New Delhi.Parallel to both the nations’ leaders meeting, the Indian delegation and the US delegation will meet in a series of high-level discussions over various issues.Post that, at 12:40 pm at the Hyderabad House, exchange of agreements and joint press statement will take place.
The afternoon of 25 February is most likely to end up as leisure time for the US President.In the evening, he will attend a meeting with Indian President at 7:30 pm, in the Rashtrapathi Bhavan.After a grand gala, Trump and his delegation will leave to the US at 10:00 pm on 25 February 2020.
During his stay in New Delhi, Donald Trump will be staying at ITC Maurya, New Delhi.This is the first time Donald Trump is visiting India, and the Indian government is making every effort to make this a memorable trip for the US President.Hundreds of thousands of people welcomed the US President standing on either side of the road, during his trip from Ahmedabad International Airport towards the Sabarmati Ashram.
