Washington on August 16, : US Secretary of Defence Lloyd Austin has tested positive for Covid-19. It’s the second time the US defense chief has contracted coronavirus, Xinhua news agency reported.
“I am suffering from mild symptoms, and will be quarantined in my home for five days.” Austin, 69 reported in an announcement of the latest case of infection.
Austin who was completely immunized and twice strengthened Austin, who was fully vaccinated and twice boosted, said his last personal meeting with US President Joe Biden was on July 29.He also said that he “will keep all authority and will be able to continue my normal schedule of work at home”.
Austin was positive for Covid-19 in the beginning of January.
