South Africa-born Covid new variant Omicron is causing a stir around the world.All countries are on high alert in the wake of millions of cases being registered at unexpected speeds.
Countries, especially high-intensity ones, are banned from flying and only allowed to enter the country after a thorough examination.The superpower America has been alerted by the recent rise in corona cases in India.
Appealed to its citizens to reconsider the matter of going to India in the present circumstances.The request comes after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued a Level-3 Travel Health Notice to India.
The US State Department said in a statement on Tuesday that the risk of contracting Covid’s infection and developing severe symptoms was lower if the FDA – approved vaccine was taken in two doses.The CDC said it was preparing guidelines for vaccinated and non-vaccinated passengers.
It is learned that in November last year, the CDC issued a Level 1 Covid 19 notice to India.
In India, coronary heart disease was tested on 17 lakh people on Tuesday and 2,85,914 tested positive.The number of cases registered an increase of 11.7 per cent as compared to the previous day.665 people lost their lives due to Covid yesterday.On the positive side, however, the number of recoveries has improved.Yesterday, 2,99,073 people recovered from Covid.So far, the total recovery in the country has reached 3.73 crore.The US fears that India is currently fighting the Third Wave and that the Omicron variant is expanding rapidly in rural areas.
