The actress had appeared in an item song titled “My Dear Markandeya” in the movie “Bro,” which stars Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej.To wish success for the film and share her joy of working with the respected actor, Urvashi wrote, “Delighted to share screen space with the esteemed Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh @pawankalyan in our film #BroTheAvatar.Releases tomorrow 28th July worldwide, the story (is) about an arrogant person who is given a second chance to fix his mistakes after death.See you all.”

However, her post drew sharp criticism from netizens, who pointed out that Pawan Kalyan is not the current Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.The position has been held by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy since 2019.

Many expressed their disapproval, with one netizen urging her to “Have some shame calling him CM,” while another commented, “Have some sense in calling him CM, whether it’s a movie or not.That guy didn’t even win an MLA post in two constituencies.” Some sarcastically referred to her post, calling Pawan Kalyan the “esteemed Minister of Entertainment & Culture.”

Pawan Kalyan, a renowned actor, entered politics in 2014 when he founded the Jana Sena Party.Despite his active involvement in politics, his party has not been able to secure victory in any state elections so far.Prior to this, he served as the president of Yuvarajyam, the youth wing of the Praja Rajyam Party, founded by his brother, Chiranjeevi, in 2008.

This incident adds to the recent criticism that Urvashi Rautela has faced.Her previous association with Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant has also been a subject of scrutiny.
