The Telugu romantic entertainer ‘Uppena’ starring debutantes Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Shetty in the lead roles, has hit the silver screens yesterday amid good buzz.The film received a good response from the moviegoers and the critics on its opening day.Helmed by Bucchi Babu Sana, and bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings.Vijay Sethupathi played a negative role while Devi Sri Prasad scored the music.
Now the latest news is that ‘Uppena’, has packed a solid punch at the box-office on its opening day.According to the film’s PR team’s update, this intense romantic drama has collected a massive worldwide share of Rs.10.42 crores.‘Uppena’ needs to collect over Rs 20 crores to yield profits to the buyers and it has recovered 45% of the investment on the opening day itself.
