The Central Government has approved the setting up of a Vaccine Testing Center in Hyderabad in a month at the request of Minister KTR.The Union decided to set up a vaccine testing centre in Hyderabad with the PM Care funds.
A few days ago, Telangana IT and Industries Minister KTR asked the Union govt to set up a vaccine testing centre in Hyderabad.KTR penned the urgency of setting up a vaccine testing centre in Hyderabad.
The Center has taken note of the urgency of this testing centre in Hyderabad, which has become the global vaccine capital.KTR said setting up a testing centre in the city could produce an additional 8 to 10 crore vaccine doses per month.
The minister said that if a testing centre is established in Hyderabad, it will result in producing 100 crore vaccine doses in six months.KTR appealed for setting up a centre here immediately because of the need for vaccine supply.
The Minister assured that the state government would assist on a fast track basis for setting up a testing centre.KTR said the required land would be allocated in the Genome Valley.
