For this, the government has finalized the design of the new mosque.Telangana Home Minister Mahmood Ali and government adviser AK Khan recently held a review with architects on the design and construction of the mosque.
The government approved the Turkish mosque model after examining several models.The construction work on the new mosque will begin this month.
The construction is targeted to be completed within 9 months.The government will lay a foundation stone by the end of this month.
According to the information, the entire construction will be completed by March 2022 and prayers will be allowed.
There were two mosques in the old secretariat premises.
Similarly, the government has decided to build two mosques in the premises of the new secretariat.The government is going to build a large mosque on an area of 2,500 square feet, which can accommodate up to 400 people at a time.
Up to a thousand people can participate in prayers outside the mosque.A small mosque is being built on an area of 400 square feet.
