We have already reported that Vishnu Manchu and Srinu Vaitla are teaming up for an upcoming project titled ‘D&D’ with the tagline Double Dose after a long gap of 13 years.Previously they worked together for the movie ‘Dhee’ which was a super hit at the box office.
Manchu Vishnu costarred with Genelia D’Cruz who is currently married to Ritesh Deshmukh and has stopped acting in films which leaves us with the question of who will be the female lead role in the sequel.
In the official poster, the team never announced that exact shooting date but the heroine’s role is getting all the attention.
It looks like the audience are eager to find out who the heroine is going to be.The latest buzz is that Vishnu will be seen romancing two heroines.News is that the team is not looking to cast highly paid heroines to avoid expenses which leaves out actresses like Pooja Hegde, Rashmika Mandanna, or a Rakul Preet Singh.Now it is reported that Pragya Jaiswal and Anu Emmanuel have been roped in to play the female lead who have been waiting for a box office hit for a while now.
This movie will be produced by Vishnu Manchu himself under the banner of 24 Frames Factory whereas it will be presented by Avaram Bhakta Manchu.Gopi Mohan, who is the favorite writer of Srinu Vaitla, who was part of the director’s several blockbusters including ‘Dhee’ is working as scriptwriter along with another popular writer Kishore Gopu.Mahati Swara Sagar has been roped to score music while Mohana Krishna will handle the cinematography department.Stay tuned for more updates on the film and who will be finalized in the main roles.
