Amid heavy rains, beginning of winter season, and Coronavirus scare, TS health officials have asked people to celebrate festivals carefully.

The months from September to December always pack with full crowds in India.

Importantly, in both the Telugu states, the famous women-centric Bathukamma festival is followed by Dasara, Diwali and Christmas.All worshipping places and commercial establishments are going to have a large gathering amid Coronavirus.

The health officials have already warned about the second wave of Coronavirus, and accordingly, Telangana has comfortably contained the Covid-19 cases in the last seven months.Hence, the Health Department of the City has urged people not to give the upper hand again for the novel Coronavirus.

The Health Department on Sunday has asked people to celebrate festivals responsibly not coming out of their homes.The officials have warned that the ongoing festivals, including Bathukamma, are ideal for the second wave of the Coronavirus and people should keep it in mind before going out enthusiastically.

Speaking on the issue, Director of Public Health, Dr G Srinivasa Rao said the next four months would be critical, and everyone should cooperate in suppressing the virus by celebrating the festivals within their homes.
