Many media outlets widely publicized that the Director of Public Health Dr Srinivasa Rao has said that the state govt would stop giving ration and pension from next month to people who have not been vaccinated against Covid-19.However, recently, the Director of Public Health Dr Srinivasa Rao has clarified that the news coming on social media and some media outlets is false.
The director of Public Health said the government had not taken such a decision and urged the people not to believe this false propaganda and not to be panicked.He warned that strict action would be taken against those who spread false news about the government and the Department of Health.
The media outlets published the news stating that the Telangana state government had taken this decision in the wake of the High Court order to complete 100 per cent Covid vaccination in the state by the end of December.
The news has caused panic among the people of Telangana, said Srinivasa Rao.He also assured the people not to believe the false news.He warned that stern action would be taken against those who broadcast such fake news without knowing the facts.
