Telangana authorities are planning to vaccinate people between the age group of 18 and 45.This process will be in force after receiving approval from the CM.
The government is planning to give the vaccine in order of priority.
The Telangana government hopes to give preference in vaccination to staff working in crowded areas such as journalists, shopping malls, and hotels.
On the other hand, Telangana state general secretary Somesh Kumar said that they were looking to impose weekend lockdowns in the state.He said that the situation in Telangana is under control and there is no need for lockdown in the state.
Telangana Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar spoke to the media.He said the CM KCR would take a decision on the lockdown if it is necessary.
He said the High Court’s instructions and suggestions in order to curb the spread of coronavirus in the state would be taken into account.He said the lockdown would not make a big difference if patients were provided with better treatment.
He also said that medical kits will be directly sent to the patient’s home.He expressed confidence that the state would maintain the status quo soon.
He said the situation in Telangana was under control.
