While seven new medical colleges will be available from next year, recently, the Telangana state government has decided to set up 4 more colleges by the time of the next elections.

Officials said the Chief Minister KCR had given the green signal for setting up four more new medical colleges in Telangana.

According to Telangana state medical and health officials, the CM has recently decided to set up four more new medical colleges in Vikarabad, Siricilla, Bhupalpally and Kamareddy.

While there are currently nine medical colleges under the auspices of the state government, a total of 11 new medical colleges are coming up in the state, including the seven previously announced in regions Sangareddy, Mahabubabad, Manchiryala, Vanaparthi, Bhadradri, Kottagudem, Jagittala, and Nagarkurnool.

Telangana state medical health department officials say this has been made possible due to the efforts of Chief Minister KCR.Through these 11 colleges, 1,650 MBBS seats will be available for students in the next two years.
