TRS govt releases Rs 30 crore funds under ‘Nethannaku Cheyutha’ scheme

The Telangana state government has sanctioned Rs 30 crore under the ‘Nethannaku Cheyuta’ scheme.State BC welfare secretary Rahul Bojja recently issued orders related to this.

In the orders issued by Rahul Bojja, it is mentioned that these funds should be utilized for the welfare of the handloom workers in the state under the Thrift Fund Saving and Security Scheme (Nethannaku Cheyuta).

TRS leaders L Ramana, Karnati Vidyasagar, and Yarramada Venkanna thanked CM KCR for releasing additional funds of Rs 30 crore for the Nethannaku Cheyutha scheme.

On this occasion, the TRS leaders lauded the efforts of the IT Minister KTR, along with the CM KCR, for introducing the welfare schemes into the handloom sector.They said the TRS government had provided insurance cover to handloom workers in the state similar to the farmers’ insurance.

Another prestigious project of the TRS government, the Dalit Bandhu scheme, will be launched on August 16.It is a pilot project in the Huzurabad constituency.There are mixed opinions in the Telangana political circles regarding this scheme amid upcoming Huzurabad by-polls.However, speculations are rife that the TRS party is looking forward to fielding a BC candidate into the Huurabad by-polls fray.
