Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Nagarjuna Sagar Assembly constituency candidate Nomula Bhagat tested positive for coronavirus.Along with him, his family members were also infected with the coronavirus.
Kotireddy, a TRS leader also tested positive for the coronavirus.Several leaders of the BJP and Congress are testing positive for coronavirus.
The number of corona-positive cases is increasing significantly again in Telangana.In the last 24 hours (from 8 pm on Saturday to 8 pm on Sunday), 83,089 people across the state underwent corona tests and 4009 tested positive.This brings the total number of positive corona cases in the state to 3,55,433 and the number of tests to 1,18,20,842.
1878 have recently recovered from corona in the state.This brings the total number of people recovering from the corona to 3,14,4413.There are currently 39,154 active cases in the state, according to the Department of Health of Telangana.
14 people have died with the corona in the state in the past 24 hours.This brought the total death toll in the state to 1838.The corona mortality rate in the state is 0.51 percent while in the country it is 1.2 percent.The recovery rate in the country is 86 percent while in the state it is 88.46 percent.
