Hansika, Andrea and Vinay starrer ‘Aranmanai’ was a runaway success in Tamil.The film was made with a very low budget and the film generated big figures at the box office.
The film unit has expressed their happiness on the success of the film and at the same time, they also have released the dubbed version of the film in Telugu with the name Chandrakala.The film was directed by Sunder.C.He is now planning a sequel for the film and the tentative title of this film is expected to be ‘Aranmanai 2’.Siddharath, Trisha, Kajal Agarwal and Anjali will be part of this project.As of now Siddarth and Trisha involvement is confirmed and the unit revealed that there will be scope for few more big actors in the film but the official announcement for the same is yet to be out.Trisha posted: “On my special day too happy 2 announce that I will be playing d lead in Aranmanai-2 under Sundar C sirs direction for d very 1st time”.Sources say that Rana Daggubati will also be playing a lead role in the film.
