Agartala 22 Nov : .The Trinamool Congress, the ruling BJP in Tripura, on Monday charged the Supreme Court with giving incorrect information and creating a problem in law and order in the “peaceful” state. Pratima Bhowmik, a senior BJP leader and Union Secretary to the Union and Tripura Information and Cultural Affairs Minister, said that Trinamool Congress leaders tried to deteriorate law and order in Tripura but also damaged the traditional culture and traditions of the two states (Tripura and West Bengal).
Chowdhury stated that TMC had held many rallies across the state, but that they were prevented from holding political or organisational events.
After receiving a petition by Trinamool Congress member Sushmita dev, the top court asked Tripura Police for assistance in making sure that no political party was prevented from peacefully campaigning, for Thursday’s municipal elections.
Many of the Trinamool Congress leaders were beneficiaries of Sarada and the other chit fund funds, and are also accused in Narada.
These people are coming to Tripura in large numbers using the money that they have earned through the chit fund,” stated Bhowmik, also Union Minister of State in Social Justice and Empowerment.
She called the TMC’s political activities stunt politics and said that TMC leaders insulted Tripura Chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb, BJP leaders, and the people of Tripura when they addressed the meeting in Tripura.
Bhowmik stated that “Lakhs were raped and over a hundred BJP functionaries killed, lakhs forced to flee their homes due to TMC ruled West Bengal.”
According to the Central Minister, she had stated that, on October 29, her intention was to travel to Malda, West Bengal, to supply various devices to physically disabled people and senior citizens.However, the District Magistrate requested that she not go due to political considerations.
“The central ministers of the state are not permitted to travel to West Bengal.
What kind of democracy is there in the TMC-ruled state?” She wondered.
Bhowmik stated that Trinamool had hired an agency to distribute fake photos and videos outside of the state in order to cause communal trouble.
