Parineeti Chopra was roped in to play the role of Saina Nehwal in her biopic and the film was titled to be ‘Saina’.

You guessed it right.The trailer of the film was out today it talks about chronicles the journey of a small-town girl from Haryana all the way towards becoming the top-ranked badminton player in the world.
The trailer gradually shows a young Nehwal being nourished and encouraged by her parents and then being trained by Manav Kaul’s character into becoming the world number 1.The trailer charts the extraordinary journey of Nehwal while also showcasing the importance of familial support when one dreams big.
Sharing the trailer on social media, Parineeti Chopra wrote: “This women’s day I am proud to bring to you – SAINA.In cinemas March 26.” The biopic film ‘Saina’ also features Manav Kaul, Ankur Vikal, Meghna Malik and Shubrajyoti Bharat.The biopic is directed by Amole Gupte and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Sujay Jairaj and Rasesh Shah.
