S.Korea Tourists Arrive in Korea from S’pore via a ‘travel bubble deal’

Seoul, Nov 15, : , The first Singaporeans to arrive in South Korea since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic were welcomed by South Korean officials under a bilateral travel bubble arrangement.
A travel bubble refers to a quarantine-free travel partnership between two or more cities or countries with similar levels of Covid-19 cases, reports Yonhap News Agency.

According to Yonhap News Agency, a travel bubble is a partnership that allows for travel without quarantine between cities or countries with similar Covid-19 levels.

The tourists landed at Incheon International Airport earlier in the day and will be free to travel around the country without quarantine if they test negative on a polymerase chain reaction test, the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) said.

According to the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO), the tourists arrived at Incheon International Airport earlier today and can travel throughout the country without being quarantined if they pass a polymerase chain reactions test.

Among them, a group of Singaporeans working in the tourism industry and reporters were invited by KTO to visit major tourist attractions in the greater Seoul area and Gangwon Province this week.

KTO invited a group from Singapore working in the tourism sector and journalists to visit the major tourist attractions in Seoul and Gangwon Province.

On Monday, KTO signed another pact with the Singapore Tourism Board and agreed to cooperate in promoting tourism between the two countries, including in marketing and support for venture companies.

KTO and the Singapore Tourism Board signed Monday a second pact.They agreed to work together in the promotion of tourism between the countries, including support for venture businesses and marketing.
