Hyderabad cops busted another drug racket .According to sources police caught an upcoming film producer Sushant Reddy along with another popular film personality and some Nigerians for involving in a drug racket.
On Saturday night, police have caught them at Film Nagar, Road No.1, Jubilee hills after conducting raids.Police have seized laptop and mobiles of Nigerian and searching the call list for other Cotacts.Police likely to arrest few more people in connection with drugs.
This is not the first time Tollywood has been linked with drug rackets.Few years back Actor Ravi Teja’s brothers was also picked up by the police for thier involvement in drug racket.
Once in a while, Tollywood actors or people connected with players in the film industry may be nabbed by cops for cocaine consumption.But with cases never coming to a logical conclusion, no one knows about the cases.
During July and August last year, Hyderabad police had busted several drug-rackets involving Nigerian and Ugandan nationals, which also helped them in exposing the drug mafia- Tollywood link.The arrested had reportedly revealed that their clients included actors, actresses from Telugu film industry and important personalities from posh Hyderabad areas.
