Senior actor and Veteran comedian Mada Venkateshwara Rao is no more.He breathed his last today (Oct 24) after battling with lung problem from many days.

He was recently admitted in Apollo Hospitals in Hyderabad and several media houses reported about his death which later proved as futile.

Born on 10, October, 1950, Venkateswara Rao started his career as an engineer in the State electricity department.

Later, he entered the theatre industry as a stage artist.Director Bapu encouraged him offering good roles in all his movies.

Mada won popularity for his song “Soodu Pinnamma Paadu Pilladu” which was a rage in the 70s.Mada maintained cordial relationship with top stars like ANR and Gummadi and led a happy life until his last breath.

Mada is more popular for the movies Mutyala Muggu, Radha Krishna, Kaakkum Kaamakaksi, Ekalavya, Malle Poolu and Mallepuvvu.The sudden death of Mada has shocked and saddened many in the Telugu film industry.
