Hyderabad 16 August : Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao on Tuesday called the Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the enemy of Telangana and said the time is right to dethrone the BJP-led government in the Centre.
He stated that a system of state-based government that respects states should be able to take over in the Centre.

Chandrasekhar Rao voiced concern over the increasing unemployment, the depreciation of rupee and the skyrocketing of price of petrol.

“The moment has arrived to bring this government at the Centre home and create our own government in,” he said.

The chief minister was speaking at an open meeting in Vikarabad after launching a brand new facility of the district collectorate.

KCR as the chief minister is commonly known, claimed that there was nothing of substance in Modi’s speech during the Independence Day parade.He stated that Modi “merely was wearing his turban and spoke to the crowd in his speech of one hour”.

“There wasn’t anything in it.There was no announcement of a new scheme.There was not any mention of the wellbeing of the nation,” he said.

KCR has reiterated that the Centre is causing obstacles in the way of the development of Telangana.

He took a hefty hit on the Premier Minister for failing to fulfill the promises made by Centre to Telangana in Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act.

He stated that the government of the state had made hundreds of submissions to the Centre in the last eight years, but received no response.

The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) also took aim at the Prime Minister for his comments about freebies, saying that there is no state in the country has implemented welfare measures like those that are implemented in Telangana.

KCR has claimed that in the disguise of electricity reforms the Centre is restricting farmers’ access to electricity by installing meters

He said that the Centre is preventing the free power supply to farmers while aiding corporates in looting millions of rupees.

“We have sufficient coal reserves in Singareni however, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has imposed new rules to purchase coal from outside sources,” he said.

He warned people not to fall into the clutches of the evil forces.

He advised that they be vigilant to avoid the suffering that is afflicting in the united Andhra Pradesh.

He demanded that people fight back against those who are evil in order to help save Telangana from their grasp.”We should impart a worthy lesson to the forces of evil,” he said.

“Telangana intellectuals should be thinking of the health of Telangana state.

The state was created after a long battle.The state was without water or electricity.

Under the Mission Bhagiratha we are providing safe drinking water to all households and providing 24 hour high-quality electric power to every sector, and providing free power to over 26 lakh motor pumps” he said
