Bengaluru 10 August : Karnataka Police on Wednesday said that the accused, who throw ink on Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait, admitted the act was committed with the intention of becoming famous.
Karnataka police have submitted an 450-page chargesheet before the 8th Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrates (ACMM) court.

The court also took the testimony of 20 eyewitnesses.the names of 89 witnesses are included in the chargesheet.

The chargesheet was filed against Bharath Shetty who is an activist of Hindu organization, as well as his colleagues Shivakumar, Pradeep Kumar and Umadevi.

The principal accused Bharath Shetty had admitted to police that they throw black ink on Tikait in order to make a name for themselves and was recorded.

The police also submitted an audio file in this case to the court.

The police said that the accused had conceived the idea of carrying the crime a week prior to the visit of Tikait.
The accused also had plans to attack him with eggs and tomatoes that had been rotten.Ink that was black was their plan B.

The accused did not have any intention of attacking Tikait.However, the accused Shivakumar in an outburst of anger slapped Tikait with microphone when he was speaking at the press conference in Gandhi Bhavan in Bengaluru on May 30, by the accused.

The suspect was identified as the son of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the commissioning of the attack, and was pulled by police.

Shivakumar had jumped onto the platform and swarmed Rakesh Tikait all of all of a sudden.

He then attempted to attack the farmers’ leaders.

During the investigation the police discovered that Shivakumar was charged in murder cases and was sentenced to life prison.

He was released for behavior that was good in 2015.After his release, he became active in an organization with his sister.

He also was involved in numerous protests.

Another suspect Pradeep, an cab driver, the cab driver thrown black ink at Rakesh Tikait and other.

Tikait was at an event on “Raita Challuvali, Aatmavalokana haagu Spasteekarana sabhe’ (Farmer’s Movement, Introspection and Clarification Meeting) organized by Karnataka State Farmers Association and Hasiru Sene.

While the leaders were speaking at the press conference at the time, all of suddenly, three criminals were on the platform and attacked Tikait.

The miscreants yelled “Modi,” “Modi,” while kicking Tikait.

Congress had claimed that the BJP was responsible for the incident.

Further investigation is in progress.
