Mumbai 8th September : The producers of the upcoming film “Thank God” unveiled the character posters for the movie on Thursday.Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Mahotra are in the lead roles. Based on the appearance of it, Ajay Devgn appears to be playing the role of Hindu Chitragupta, the Hindu deity in the film.Sidharth appears to be playing an ordinary man who’s actions will be judged by the character of Ajay in the movie.
Chitragupta is the god who is entrusted with the responsibility of keeping up-to-date record of the activities of humans and rewarding them according to their Karma.When someone dies, Chitragupta decides whether they go to heaven or hell.
The film is directed by Indra Kumar who has previously directed films such as “Masti,” the Aamir Khan and Madhuri Dixit Nene-starrer “Dil,” “Ishq,” and the ‘Raja’.
The film, scheduled to release on October 25th, will reveal the trailer on Friday.
