The Telangana state government has finally focused on the teachers who are performing duties in schools that do not have students.The recent article published in one of the most famous Telugu dailies has become viral in the state.
With this, the Telangana state government has responded and decided to send such teachers to other schools which have children.The government is likely to complete this process before the schools reopen on July 1.
As per reports, there are a total of 1192 government schools across the state which do not have a single student.In these schools, a total of 1657 teachers are working.
The state government directed the education department to submit the details of the schools which have teachers with no students.
With this, the Education Department Director Sridevasena received the details related to such schools and teachers through all the district DEOs.
The Department of Education hopes to send these teachers to nearby schools where there is a shortage of teachers with more students.Authorities hope to reopen the closed dormitories if new children join the schools.
The education department plans to hire teachers in such schools as well.
