Although there are some dissenting notes, this is the spirit of democratic parliamentary democracy.Unfortunately, Modi’s regime has few such instances.

“I feel compelled submit a detailed dissension note. However, this should not affect the democratic way the Committee functioned.Jairam stated, “Now for the discussion in Parliament.”

Tewari stated, “I had to submit a dissident note because I disagree with the bill’s fundamental design and construction.”

P.P.Chaudhary was complimented by him.Chaudhary was praised for his role in the draft of the bill.

Manish Tewari, in his dissenting note to Chaudhary, wrote that “Since committee, in its wisdom, decided not to accept any of the substantive amends by me, we hereby submit that I hereby object to the bill as amended from time to time under the consideration of the honorable committee.”

The Personal Data Protection Bill 2019, introduced in Lok Sabha, was referred to the joint commission to solicit views and suggestions from the individuals, associations, and bodies concerned.Last month, the committee met to discuss the legislation.
