San Francisco, Aug 5 : Tech billionaire Elon Musk has suggested that Tesla might construct “at at least 10-12 gigafactories” in years to come Musk has teased another gigafactory site to be picked later in the year.
The annual meeting of shareholders, dubbed “Cyber Roundup late on Thursday night, Musk repeated the expansion of Tesla’s driver assistance system known as fully self-driving (FSD) beta, as reported by TechCrunch.

“We’re now at 40 million miles.I’m guessing that by the end of this year, we’ll have more than 100 million miles” Musk stated.Musk.

“And we’re tracking extremely closely to see widespread use of FSD beta in the coming year in North America,” he added.

Tesla is expected to soon permit non Tesla electric vehicles to connect to its charging network.

Musk has said that the long-anticipated Cybertruck (announced in 2019) will be revealed in the near future although he did not offer any additional details.

In the last month, he said Tesla is looking to begin delivery of Cybertrucks Cybertruck in the middle of next year.

The Tesla CEO has stated that the company plans to reach two million cars annual run at the end of this year.

At the time of the event, Tesla shareholders voted in favor of the three-for-one split of their stock, that will reduce the shares of the company down to around $300.

Tesla has reported $16.93 billion in revenue in Q2 and automotive accounted for $14.6 billion of the total sales.

In a conference call to discuss earnings, Musk said that Tesla’s new factory located outside of Berlin reached 1,000 vehicles per week in June.
