The biopics on sports persons is very common in Bollywood.We have recently seen the biopic of the prominent Indian boxer MC Mary Kom which has Priyanka Chopra in the lead role.The film has received applause from audiences.The film also grabbed a National award.
Also there is a film on athlete Milka Singh’s biography which was filmed as “Bhaag Milka Bhaag” and received much acclamation.Now there are plans to make the biopic of World No.1 doubles Tennis starlet Sania Mirza.If everything go well, Deepika Padukone might feature in the lead role if this film.
Before that happens, Sania Mirza is all ready to pen her biography with the title having a tentative title “Against All Odds”.She is going to publish the book first and then might consider selling rights of it.Choosing the title Against All Odds has a string reason as Sania started practicing on courts made of cow dung and from there reached to the stage of playing on best courts of tennis in the world.Her journey has much discrimination, struggles and hurdles.
But finally she has reached a successful position now against all odds.This is a thing to be considered too!
