Warangal born Telugu actress Anandhi made her debut in Tollywood with director Maruthi’s ‘Bus Stop’ in 2012.Though ‘Bus Stop’ was a decent success, Anandhi struggled to find offers in Telugu cinema after that film.
She later shifted her base to Kollywood and has garnered a name for herself in the Tamil film industry with more than a dozen movies.
Now almost after a long gap of eight years, she has returned to Tollywood and is currently playing one of the female leads in the upcoming release, ‘Zombie Reddy’ which is being directed by Prasanth Varma of ‘Awe’ fame.
Teja Sajja is playing the lead role whereas Daksha Nagarkar will be seen as the other heroine in this zombie film.
The teaser of ‘Zombie Reddy’ was launched yesterday and looks like Anandhi is finally getting her due in Tollywood.
News is that Anandhi has now grabbed a chance to act with Sudheer Babu in ‘Sridevi Soda Centre’, to be directed by Karuna Kumar of ‘Palasa’ fame.The film is produced by Vijay Chilla and Shashi Devireddy under 70mm Entertainment banner.The regular shoot will commence shortly.
