New Delhi, November 19 : , Telegram’s encrypted messaging app Telegram announced Friday that Sponsored messages will be available for anyone who wants to promote their bot or channel. Telegram sponsored messages are only shown in public, one-to-many networks with over 1,000 members.
They are solely based on the subject of those channels.
It means that user data are not analyzed or mined for display purposes.
The company stated that sponsored messages were currently being tested and not accessible to all.
It stated that once they have been fully launched, Telegram will be able to pay its fundamental costs such as the equipment and data centers used by channel administrators to deliver their content.We plan to share ad revenues with admins on channels where Sponsored messages are displayed.”It is fair,” it said.
You cannot allow sponsored messages to appear in chat lists, private chats, or groups.
Telegram users have more freedom to use their phone without ads than WhatsApp, according to the company.
