Telangana State IT and Industries Minister KTR said that the Telangana government had made tremendous progress in the industrial sector in the last seven years due to its policies.He said that Telangana would contribute a significant share to India’s GDP.
Minister KTR recently addressed an online conference organized by the European Business Group.The meeting was attended by representatives of various companies from Europe and India, the business community and embassies.
On this occasion, Minister KTR explained the investment opportunities in Telangana, especially about the TS-iPASS policy brought by the Telangana government.
The state of Telangana has already selected 14 sectors as priority sectors like IT, Life Sciences, Pharma, Aerospace, Defense, Textiles and Food Processing and Minister KTR explained the highest priority given to those sectors.
The Telangana government is ready to compete with various newly emerging countries in these sectors, he said.He added that huge industrial parks are being set up in Telangana, including Hyderabad Pharma City, Kakatiya Mega Textile Park and Medical Device Park.
Minister KTR mentioned that there are already investments in Telangana from countries like the US, Japan, Korea, China, Korea and Taiwan in Telangana.Also, many European companies are operating in Telangana most conveniently.
