In a historic development of mutual understanding and benefits of both the states of Telangana and Maharastra.Government of both states stuck a deal and signed Memorandum Of Understanding (M.O.U) on three irrigation projects.These Irrigation projects will come up at Medigadda on Godavari river, Tummidi Hatti on Pranahita river and Chanaka Korata on Penganga rivers respectively.
This Remarkable understanding took place in presence of Chief Minister of Telangana K.Chandrashekar Rao, T.Harish Rao, Maharastra Ministers Devendra Fadnavis, Girish Mahajan Finance Minister, Sudhir Mangatrai, Union Minister Hansraj Gangaram, Deputy CM Mohamud Ali, Telangana Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma participated in this crucial meeting.CM of Telangana KCR said that 1,400 tmc of water flowing into the sea will be controlled and utilized for the benefits of both the States of Telangana and Maharastra.KCR feels that this is a historic development.‘Water, Funds & Recruitment’ will be the new tagline.KCR blamed Andhra Pradesh rulers for complicating the inter-state controversies.
