The Telangana High Court has refused to suspend the survey on Jamuna Hatcheries lands.Former minister Etela Rajender’s wife Jamuna recently approached the high court challenging the notice given to the Masaipet land survey.
Refusing to stay the survey notices, the High court directed the Tahsildar to conduct the survey in the second or third week of June.
Meanwhile, the Toopran Division Deputy Survey Inspector issued notices on June 6 to survey the lands.The bench of Justice B.Vijayasen Reddy heard the petition filed by Jamuna challenging the notices in the Summer Special High Court.
Advocate General BS Prasad said notices had been issued to all landowners in the village, including Jamuna Hatcheries, to conduct a survey to clear the assigned lands.Senior counsel Desai Prakash Reddy argued that, as per the rules, notices should be given for the survey if personally requested.
He added that it is illegal to give notices without explaining the proper reasons.
After hearing arguments from both sides, the High Court refused to suspend the survey on Jamuna Hatcheries lands.
The Tahsildar was directed to conduct the survey in the second or third week of June.
