The Telangana state government has decided to increase the salaries of Anganwadi teachers.Recently, the Telangana govt announced that the salaries of the Anganwadi teachers and their support staff (mini Anganwadi teachers) would be increased by 30 per cent in the state.
Recently, the state government has issued orders regarding this.
In this context, the salary of Anganwadi teachers will be increased from Rs.10,500 to Rs.13,650.Also, the salary of support staff would be increased from Rs 6,000 to Rs 7,800 per month.The state government has made it clear in GO that this hike will be applicable from July month.
However, the Anganwadi teachers and their support staff were overjoyed with the pay hike.
On this occasion, they especially thanked CM KCR.Anganwadis play a vital role in providing nutritious food to pregnant women, nursing mothers and children in the state.Anganwadi services are much needed for pregnant and postpartum women in rural areas, especially in remote areas as they have lack knowledge about nutritious food.
