Telangana government spent Rs 8,000 Cr on Hyderabad

For creating better infrastructure facilities and other developmental works, Telangana government has spent Rs 8,000 Cr in Hyderabad, says Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao.According to his statement, the State government and the GHMC spent Rs.6,000 crore for SRDP works, Rs.313 crore for HRDCL works and Rs 1,800 crore for CRMP works, in the city.The Minister reiterated such initiatives not taken place even in the united AP.

The Minister said Hyderabad is one of the fastest developing cities in India and the Telangana government is seeking people’s suggestions in every aspect to execute different development works.The TRS government is committed to offering better infrastructure and facilities for future generations, said KT Rama Rao.

He has inaugurated three link roads near ESCI and also laid the foundation stone for a four-lane underpass near Leather Park, Nandi Hills.The Minister said the details of the 135 link roads are available in the public domain and more would be added to the list if required.

He asked the people to give any suggestions in this regard and identify more link roads.
