Telangana State Medical Director Srinivasa Rao urged the people of Telangana to remain vigilant till December as health experts are warning of the possible forthcoming of Covid third wave.
Speaking to the media, he said that the next three months period is a festive season.
He urged all people to be careful during festivals.He suggested people strictly abide by the Covid protocols.
The state Medical director Srinivasa Rao asked people to get tested immediately if they develop corona symptoms.He suggested people wear a mask, sanitize hands frequently and maintain social distancing.
Speaking on this occasion, he said that Telangana is reporting the lowest number of Covid positive cases in the past few days.The recovery rate of corona patients in the state has increased significantly.
Oxygen and pediatric beds are being set up in all hospitals in the wale of the possibility of the third wave, said Director Srinivasa Rao.
Experts warn that corona cases are likely to rise sharply in the country by January next year.The state of Kerala has the highest number of corona cases registered in the country.
