The Telangana state cabinet chaired by Chief Minister and TRS party chief Kalwakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao will meet today at 2 pm.During the cabinet meeting, Chief Minister KCR will discuss measures to be taken to control the spread of corona in the state, lockdown, agriculture, crops, ongoing grain procurement, availability of seeds, fertilizers, prevention of adulterated seeds and other issues.
The lockdown imposed by the state as part of the covid control measures will be in force till Sunday, May 30.A decision on whether to extend the lockdown will be taken in the cabinet meeting.The Cabinet will decide after a thorough discussion on the severity of the situation in the state in the wake of coronavirus.
Along with this, the issues like treatment, medications, and facilities for covid and Black Fungus patients will be discussed in the cabinet meeting.
Chief Minister KCR has already directed to increase the budget allocations for the medical health and home departments.The same is likely to be discussed at the cabinet meeting as well.
Ongoing grain purchases in the state will also be reviewed in the Cabinet meeting.With the onset of the monsoon season, issues and measures regarding crop cultivation will be discussed at the ministerial meeting.
