After Much Ruckus the controversial Telangana bill has passed in the Parliament .The Lok Sabha passed the Telangana Bill with the main opposition BJP giving full support to the Congress in the passage of the bill.
Chaos ruled parliament while the debate is happening and seemandhra MP’S said to be created ruckus in parliament well.Marshals were called in to stop the lawmakers from disrupting proceedings inside Parliament, while Speaker Meria Kumar asked for the telecast of the session to be stopped.
Then discussion went on for just 23 minutes and, speaker Meira Kumar has announced Telangana Bill as passed
Soon after the House met at 3 pm, Speaker Meira Kumar asked Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde to initiate the debate.Shinde, speaking from a written speech, said, the bill seeks to meet the “democratic aspirations” of the Telangana region.
We have tried our best to accomodate the aspirations of all regions, Shinde said.
There were 35 amendments which were taken up for voting by voice vote when the clause-by-clause voting began,.
It was for the first time in the history of Lok Sabha that the live telecast of the proceedings on Lok Sabha TV was stopped.Sonia Gandhi leaves Parliament House, Congress MP Ponnam Prabhakar touched her feet when she left.
The Bill is expected to be passed in Rajya Sabha tomorrow.While Telangana people started celebrations, situations heated in Seemandhra area.
