Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are on a collision course over conducting Eamcet-2015.Telanagan government on Monday announced tentative dates for all common entrance tests.
At a media conference here, Papi reddy chairman of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) announced the dates.According to the schedule released by the TSCHE, the common Eamcet for both states will be held on May 14 2015.
Other than Eamcet, the chairman also announced dates for other Entrance tests.
As per the notification LAWCET will happen on May 19, E-CET on May 21, I-CET on May 22 and PE-CET on May 25.ED-CET will held on June 6.He also confirmed that students from Andhra Pradesh will have to write Telangana CETs to secure admission in the state.
The AP government which argued for common Eamcet all these days, realised that it would not be possible since TS government was rigid on conducting its own entrance test.The APSCHE recently announced that it will hold the Eamcet on May 10, Ecet on May 14, Icet on May 16, Edcet on May 28 and Lawcet on May 30.
