TDP leader and Srikakulam MP Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu penned a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.In the letter, he said there were irregularities over the distribution of foreign aid.Rammohan appealed for the removal of barriers in the distribution of equipment.He suggested appointing nodal officers for the distribution of corona treatment equipment in the country.
Rammohan Naidu demanded immediate removal of GST on equipment like oxygen concentrators.
However, the number of positive corona cases continues to rise in India.
For the fourth consecutive day, the number of corona cases in the country has crossed the 4 lakh mark.The number of corona cases reached the 4,03,738 mark in the last 24 hours.4,092 people have died due to corona in the last 24 hours.With this, the number of corona cases registered so far in the country has reached 2,22,96,414.
In the last 24 hours, the corona tests were performed on 18,65,428 people.However, 4.03,738 people tested positive for corona.With this, the death toll due to the corona has risen to 2,42,362 in the country.
On the other hand, the number of recovery cases is increasing along with the number of positive corona cases.
